Sunset, 30 October

It's been a week since Labour Weekend, traditionally the time to plant summer vegetables. Not at our place, because our garden is shady and cold, so we do everything a fortnight to a month after everybody else. Yesterday was a coolish, windy day, and I was tempted to light a fire. The weather has been very temperamental. Sunset was at around 8.30PM.

    Yes, we do, Piika, so we're normally 12 hours ahead of GMT, but for now, 13 hours, so this sunset was, in reality, around 7.30PM. Later in the summer, it'll be light until almost 10PM Summer Time.

    hey meg!!!... was great to see u in my blog thanks for passing... you have a nice sunset here... saudade is a portuguese word (but u can also use it spanish, even if a major part spanish speakers dont know what it means)do u know that feealing when u r away from home or from some one or something, and u miss it so bad... and u get so nostalgic... something like that... is a bit lik blues... or feelig blue...

    Nathalie, if you think about it, the moment the sun sets beyond the mountains, and the moment the sun just rise above them - they can't be that different except the direction of the sun (or the earth) can it? Because as the sun sets over here, it's rising somewhere else.... Wow, too late for me to think. Just posted Theme Day - so I'm going to bed. See you tomorrow.

    Hello, Seesaw. Thank you! Our house faces West, so sunset is something we pay attention to a lot, and it's quite amazing how different it is every day.
