Ben posted a very similar shot just a fortnight ago, but I had to do mine. It's a sad day when the local newspaper will no longer be printed in town. It's not only the job loss, but certainly news will have to be filed earlier, or go on to the next day, and then what happens when transportation is hampered as in the fuel shortage similar to Auckland Airport recently, or road closure on State Highway 1 that happens all too often with heavy rain or earthquakes; that stretch is still not fixed since the Kaikoura quake last November 13. There should be considerations more important than just the bottom line, surely. Or will the paper eventually disappear altogether and will remain online only?
