Courthouse Makeover

The Nelson Courthouse Makeover seems to be going on smoothly. The only problem is it was designed by a person who clearly never has to climb up stairs in short, or even medium-length skirts, or loves people who do.

Refinery Art Space

Remember this? Refinery Art Space had a face lift a while back, but I'm happy because it shows off the metal work by Duncan Leask more effectively. Right now they are holding the superb Centre for Fine Woodworking annual show until January 24th.

After today, or whenever they get around to hanging them, it will become the third place in the universe where you can buy scarves by Yours Truly.

 It's not quite sunset yet.

We've been asked for sunset photos, but for a while we haven't had spectacularly colorful sunsets on days we were looking, which were most days this holiday break. We've had a few rainy days, but otherwise superbly gusty windy tree-bending days, with short, sharp, yellow sunsets. Anyway, the holiday is over, and Ben is back to work. And so am I, taking a break from the garden and going downstairs to work!

Summer

It was an overcast gray sky. Minutes later, blue sky magically appeared!

Tai Chi?

They did not move in that pose for quite long time. I thought they are some sort of sculpture but I could not recall anything at that space. Then 10~20 minutes (I did not timed, so it's a guess) later, they moved. It was like "Tai Chi" move but I'm not quite sure.

Theme Day: Changes

Started its life as a fancy red sports car, it's turned to the planter/ornament by the road side. What a new start! (It was there for quite long, I finally get a shot.)
