Daylight Saving Time started today and New Zealand is 13 hours ahead of GMT until next March.
Tomorrow I leave for a week-long, mind-blowing, body-combusting, once-in-a-lifetime weaving workshop in Paraparaumu, taken by (that's Kiwi Speak for "taught by") American weaver Randall Darwall. Ben will mind NDP for the week.
This is my high-flying taxi; you all enjoy Theme Day!
Meg, thanks for visiting my blog. My son is a student at Hamline and loves it there.
ReplyDeleteMeg, have a great time. It sounds really interesting.
ReplyDeleteI like the cloud formation in this photo.
Meg, D. Cady is a family friend! Isn't he wonderful??? My son is hoping to take a class from him if he finds the time.
ReplyDeletePhotowannabe, I will, I will. I love clouds, too. About 40% of the pics in my folders are clouds. I'm getting predictable.
ReplyDeleteCarol, I'm speechless. I wanted to transfer to Mac after my Soph year, (Dr. Cady went on sabattical without asking me first) and Mac offered to pay big $, but Dr. C and Dr. Vane were too hard an addiction to quit, so I stayed at HU. Dr. C and the Mrs are just super people and he's still got the boyish charm even in pics with him holding his granddaughter. Do you happen to know Bev Deyo Sevendsen by any chance?
OK, color me officially ENVIOUS! I hope you have a blast! I love this photo, too- the clouds are lovely!
ReplyDeletewow...nice sky shot:D i like it!
ReplyDeletePhlegmy, yup, for sure. RD is just a bit too awesome to be modest about the coming workshop.
ReplyDeleteZannie, you and me, girl, the sky nuts!
So, on Taxi theme day you chose to reach for the sky! Not a bad idea! Enjoy your holiday and we want to hear all about weaving when you get back...
ReplyDeleteOH, and those clouds look like an inversion of tide rushing in on a beach. Cool!
