Meg, when i was young, there was an entrance at the top of these stairs and inside was the childrens library. Spent many a happy hour there. Showing my age again!
ReplyDeleteOh, really? Thanks for that, Trish. I know it's concreted over, and I know Fisheries building used to be the library, but, wow, another new (to us) info! I like this building better than the "new" library; it fits my image of a library much better.
