Blessing of Fishing Fleet

Blessing of Fishing Fleet is an annual event that takes place near the Yacht Club. This year it was postponed due to bad weather, and took place on Saturday. The buses posted yesterday were there apparently transported the elderly to event.

We caught the tail end of the event from the wrong side of the Power House building when we saw two choppers flying above us as we tried to sit down to a leisurely weekend breakfast at 2PM. Read more about it here.

  1. It looks like a grey somber day, a perfect one for remembrance of those passed on.

  3. Looks like the weather was still gloomy. The shot is great. Nice perspective.

  5. Thanks, everyone.

Alan, before the place in Mapua became Flax years ago, they used to let us order breakfast at 3. We are notorious. AND we ask for substitutions or side orders - in case of Saltwater, one MUST have brioche!
