This is an old redwood. It's the first large tree seen in the Queens Gardens, when you enter from Hardy Street. I think the texture of this tree bark is very interesting and has a powerful living feel. As in the LOTR, the old tree has a soul.

This is an old redwood. It's the first large tree seen in the Queens Gardens, when you enter from Hardy Street. I think the texture of this tree bark is very interesting and has a powerful living feel. As in the LOTR, the old tree has a soul.

ReplyDeleteIt may be because I did fire the flash and adjust colour in post process? Well, I think it's close enough to what I saw. But, hey, I agree with you Sakiwi, it may be bit waxy looking.
