    We're having a cold snap this weekend; although a cold snap in Nelson doesn't mean anything, it's still a wee bit chilly and the fire takes longer to get going.

    On the other hand, it's been a warm winter so far to the point my apple trees have all the leaves still, and there are, believe it or not, two cherry blossoms flowering!!!

    Strange indeed.
