Narnia might have been more colorful if the children went through this cupboard, don't you think?This is not exactly a doorway, but I found this the day after we joined DP. Made in India, it is a corner unit in the storage room of the delectable furniture/design store Obelisk on Achilles Avenue. Obelisk faces the carpark where I shot the red scooter and GR8ABZ.
If you go to Nuno's Porto, you will find the first door to a whole series of Theme Day doorways.
I like your sense of humor, and the doorway, and it comes with a price tag too ... Like it, take it home.

ReplyDeleteLachezar, thanks, I would have, but the price tag was wrong - it had 2 too many 0's!! By the way, I went to shoot Starbucks today, but the front doors were closed (on the first warm day of the season!!!) so I'll go back again tomorrow.

But people, this IS the back room of the shop; this baby was waiting to be picked up by its new owner - it's probably going out of THAT garage door... Yiiiikkkkeess....

I wasn't in the loop, Kim, because this was not a real door, and because I was a chicken. Ben uses a Canon G3, and he's been taking photos since he was about 20; I got a Panasonic Limix DMC-FX01 in August; like most things in life, I've been erratic with photography, and I have very bad eyesight, but DP doesn't let you be erratic, does it?
ReplyDeleteWe don't think we'll be participating in the October Theme Day, though, Kim; taxis in Nelson are so blah-looking and there aren't even that many of them around. They are perfectly nice guys and ladies driving them, but photogenic vehicles? I'm not sure.
