Roger Davies' Tractor Seat Chair

This is hardly a pic to showcase his furnitures, but just before we went to the book fair, we popped into see Roger Davies who has a studio in Founders Park. I think he might say he is better known for works where he coax wood into lovely curved shapes like Japanese flower arrangement, but he did a series where he morphed Furguson tractor seats into comtemporary indoor pieces.

  3. Cool! Lovely combination of different materials, and old and new.

Though in the portal thumbnail, I thought it was a fancy new toilet seat ;D

  4. I can't remember exactly what he did with another one - it might have been in combination with wood, but this one is springy and almost like a very modern rocking chair.
