The comparison really works well, it was a great idea to do it. Just 3 months apart?. Here the leaves fall relatively late, so the time of bare trees is mercifully shorter than in northern Europe. It is still grim though. You will have to keep us warm with a plentiful supply of rich green crowns like these for the next 5 months!
It's a bit cruel,here in France, it's raining cats and dogs today and leaves on trees begin to be only a souvenir...But i do like your two pictures and this contrast!
