A Mideval Ruin?

I wish; it's just a rocky hill, cut up for our convenience; limestone is quarried across the street, so they needed a work area. Behind me is Port Tarakone, Golden Bay. Here's the reality.

    Fantastic, Meg! We do have medieval ruins in France that would look exactly like that at night!

    The 'reality' shots are exactly that: a reality shock!!!!!

    I used to take issue with "touching up" photographs to post on NDP, but the more I explore the touching up tools, the more fun I'm having. Although most of mine are just straightened and exposure corrected and maybe cropped, it's kind of fun to totally have a play with some, too. Besides, I'm told, more discerning eyes can spot touch-ups right away, so now I decided not to worry about it too much.

    It's the 10 years in the convent school that makes me first examine the moral angle! Yes, Sister, I DID touch up this one, quite considerably. I'm sorry...

    Meg, thanks for your kind note at my site! About 4 years ago I tried hard to get down to NZ to work, but it did not work out. Not really sure why, just the complications of an overseas hire I suspect. As it turns out, we landed very well in Delta! If you ever find your self heading to Colorado, let me know. You will find friends here as well!
