  1. I am not sure if my eyes are playing tricks, but I could have sworn this picture was much lighter and brighter. The shasow content really makes it look great, (but I am wondering if I am losing the plot or if my eyes are deteriorating). I have to say, whatever, I now think the shot looks brilliant, and I love it!

  2. Lesley, This one was always like this and the darker version of BW is almost straight conversion of this (but slight extra adjustment). If you are looking at LCD panel, it will trick you for contract/brightness and often colour by different viewing angle. This is the one most reason I kept my CRT on side of my LCD and stop using laptop screen for photo adjusting.

  3. Ah! You just explained it. I was, up until several days ago, using an LCD Samsung 22 33 SW screen (6 weeks old) that bit the dust. Now I am back to my Vaio laptop screen (10"). I am shocked that I have such a variance in the work I am viewing, but nevertheless enjoying what I see. Kinda sorry I never ever got to have a CRT here in Oz. My partner understands exactly what you are talking about and explaining it to me. It was hard enough going from film to digital but to now to find computers are tricking me....... oh dear. Love this work anyway.
