Very well restored car! Reminds me of some of the hood ordainments I published last year from a local junk yard.
Regarding your question, Delta is in Colorado, but Moab Utah, near where the picture was taken is around 90 miles west of us. The Colorado river created all these canyons, and this was taken about 90 miles NE of the dam at the head of the Grand Canyon, above Lake Powell. I have a Google map of to the post showing the location of the shot.
