Bring Back the 60s!!

Remember this? Well, we went to Refinery Art Space after my wee procedure to see how my piece was being installed. I was still feeling the effects of anesthetics, but a door to the side office was ajar and this jumped at me.

Grand reopening (or "Relaunch") of Refinery Art Space is on Friday this week. All welcome.

  1. Whoa. There's certainly a bit of jumping involved. I might be able to get used to this but I wouldn't bet on that so I'd have the 60's stay in the museum to be enjoyed in controlled amounts on Tuesday nights.

  2. Wow, that makes me a bit dizzy. I don't think its all the effects of anesthetics...the floor may have had something to do with it.

  3. The first house we bought had wall paper exactly like that - it was the first thing we changed and was it great the day we ripped it all down!!!

  4. Per, controlled amounts - ha ha ha...

Sue, isn't it just wild that this was all over the airport terminal? What a welcome.

Jules, that reminds me, and I hadn't thought of it since '77, the first dorm room in college had lots of orange, yellow and browns there. It was quite mesmerizing and most people hated it, but neither my roommate Sandie nor I minded. I can't remember the pattern, but it was blindingly bright, when orange was not in at all.

  5. Groovy, baby!

Sorry I haven’t visited as much as I would like lately. I have been hellish busy, not least because I am standing for election as a presidential officer in our teacher union – lots of extra campaigning work, and also trying to keep the home fires burning, and the blog going!
