Let's Put Some Walls Here

Nelson sits on a fault line, so it unnerves me a bit when I see what appears to me to be unconventional (not from-the-ground-up) construction. This one appears so arbitrary it's almost comical, but I'm sure the builders know what they're doing.

  1. That looks kind of scary to me too. I'm not good at math or physics so may the "law" says its ok to build that way. Seems like a house of cards would fall if started that way.
    Good thought provoking shot Meg.

  2. It does look a big flimsy at this stage. I agree though that the builder probably knows what hes/shes doing.

  3. Thank you, ladies. I promise not to sneeze too near the walls or to jump up and down.... Hopefully, that should do it... (See my fingers crossed?)

  7. This one is more like Achiles and Rutherford, near Briscoes and Anzac Park. You might be thinking of when they were constructing Spotlight, which is on Hastings, where Washing splits near that playground.

You need to come back and check out... ummm.. all the latest construction going on here.
