Always Keep Your Windshield Clean
These babies appeared from nowhere, waved, posed, then disappeared again. The lesson of the day: conscientious DPers must always keep the windshield clean. Grape Escape Cafe parking lot, Richmond, yesterday.

Absolutely fantastic!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great capture! Your dirty windscreen adds that touch of mystery. So very well done!

Have a great Sunday
Ben was laughing like a hyena yesterday at his "Post No Bills" post.
ReplyDeleteNice one, I love it!
ReplyDeleteVery nice shot - the kids holding the "masks", nice composition.
ReplyDeletewow what a great shot - you were in the right place at the right time!
ReplyDeleteHow adorable!
ReplyDeletePoint well taken!
ReplyDeleteFunny shot...
Delightful photo Meg. The kids seem to be having such a good time. I agree, the spots on the windshield give a bit of arty atmosphere to the shot.
ReplyDeleteWonderfully captured shot!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visits, people. What can I say, all credit to these kids, really.
ReplyDeleteEven with the dirty windshield, it's a great shot...and I like it with the dirt too. :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kuayin. I guess in this case, it worked, eh?
ReplyDeleteNow, come on, Meg, admit it, you let your windshield dirtying up that artfully on purpose (little computer programm on the side, Ben???). :-)))
ReplyDeleteLove those kids in their shopping bag masks, reall great shot! (Keeping your camera at the ready has really paid of!)
I haven't done anything on her shot... I washed window while driving in that morning, so it left that mark where wiper does not reach.
ReplyDeleteThe boy in front start waving to us. So, I stop my car and waving back while she's preparing and taking this shot.
I like the shot, too.
You caught me there, Merisi, I do carry portable dirt in a spray bottle! Just so cute, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteBen:
ReplyDeleteSheer serendipity with a bit of low tec and cooperation = great photo! (Reminds me of the circumstances in which Ansel Adams caught the "Moonrise over Hernandez".)
Meg:
Must have been some suspenseful moments while you were trying to aim: Will they stay or not? And yes, they are really cute. :-)
Congratulations both!
Funny kids! How lucky that you happened to have the spray-on dirt and a camera ready beside you to capture the little jokers.
ReplyDeleteMerisi, it was. I didn't want them to go away, but I think the child in the front knew I was getting my camera out so he stopped walking. I only got one shot, so if this didn't work, it would have been just another story!
ReplyDeleteAnnulla, absolutely lucky!
