Wonderful World

I took this shot at Cable Bay beach near the entrance of walk way. Several series shots were introduced at sketchbook late last month (22nd to 27th) but I wanted to share this particular one here.

  8. Wonderful world...and I'm still shuddering from 'yellow peril'. Unbelievable! Disgraceful, more like.
You see, we can all endeavour to show the rest of the world all the beautiful things around us, but we can't ever - nor should we - shut out the societiesy, in all its myriads tones & realities, that we are all part of. Hi, Meg!

  9. Well, Mile, we all have both side of realities. I choose looking at positive side as much as possible and relax. Sometimes, we can not ignore things like one posted recently by Meg, but hey life is going on and I have to live with it. Let's relax and enjoy as much as we can.

  10. The both sides of everything, Ben, of course.
And I'm sure you would agree that there is good in bad and bad in good. It is just that my perspective - which is entirely personal, and not to ram down anyone's throats - is that it is possible to be positive about the negatives. We can find an awful lot of enrichment from confronting the negatives sometimes. Serendipity? We differ from every other species in that we have the power and ability to choose and to decide. A few of us have more power and range to do these things than the rest. A relative few. And not only for the most obvious of reasons. There used to be a popular truism: "You pays your money & you takes your choice". Perhaps it could also have said: "If you has the money, you takes your choice".
It doesn't only have to do with what we, as individuals, have, but the way we are. Freedom to choose is a precious freedom, no? Have an excellent rest of weekend. It's nearly Xmas!

  11. Mile, How can I disagree with you. It's all true.
The freedom of choice is indeed preciouses freedom, I only hope we are wise to use this power and freedom.
It may not succeed as intended but we all make mistakes and lean form there. I need to be put myself under this large landscape and just relax, accept the my choice of reality and recharge myself.

    Have a nice weekend, Mile.

  13. Thanks Kris,

It's funny that you said Microsoft Screen Saver. I think the image was called Bliss and I had exact same comment on some other photo.
