Unashamedly Touristy

But Lake Rotoiti is photogenic, I can't help it. And then someone comes along to show off, or are we invading his/her space? At Nelson Lakes National Park.

    It's lovely! You can tell the weather patterns by the fact that one mountain has vegetation and the other does not.

    Susan, your comment makes me want to go back to Blenheim and shoot THEIR mountain, which is so bare all year round. I think it's called Wither Hills.

    I think I like the invader's shot better, not only because of the duck but also because of the beach foreground.
    Touristy stuff? Go for it, I'm all for good quality pics, no matter whether they are touristy or not.

    Nathalie, I have a dozen of those, too, with the beach. I guess I chose this one because I had only one of the duck swimming (well, another one, but he's a bit blurred) and I knew that would include the beach, so I think I chose this one to they look a little different. But me, too, I do like touristy photos.

    Lachezar, you said it. When I go to European DPs, all I want to see are stone buildings and ruins!
