Unashamedly Touristy

But Lake Rotoiti is photogenic, I can't help it. And then someone comes along to show off, or are we invading his/her space? At Nelson Lakes National Park.

  5. It's lovely! You can tell the weather patterns by the fact that one mountain has vegetation and the other does not.

    I love nature shots!

  6. Thank you for visiting, everybody, and Mile Stones, whose comment disappeared, and me reposting your comment, Mile, disappeared, too!

Moworld, you got it. No editing by mere human necessary.

    Faye, well, within 10 minutes???

Photowannabe, yes, exactly. And I'm the original creator of the blog, so how dare it swipes MY comment!!

Jazzy, it is a beautiful place.

Susan, your comment makes me want to go back to Blenheim and shoot THEIR mountain, which is so bare all year round. I think it's called Wither Hills.

  7. I think I like the invader's shot better, not only because of the duck but also because of the beach foreground.
Touristy stuff? Go for it, I'm all for good quality pics, no matter whether they are touristy or not.

  8. What a beauty, clouds, ripples in the water, green and stone... and then again when visiting the DP blogs, we are all unashamed tourists, aren't we?

  9. Nathalie, I have a dozen of those, too, with the beach. I guess I chose this one because I had only one of the duck swimming (well, another one, but he's a bit blurred) and I knew that would include the beach, so I think I chose this one to they look a little different. But me, too, I do like touristy photos.

Lachezar, you said it. When I go to European DPs, all I want to see are stone buildings and ruins!
