Mike's Posse

Ben posted a group shot of these guys last year. The "aviator" was gone yesterday, and I think the remaining two are pirates.

They are, from what I can tell by looking but not touching, made of calico, stuffing, gesso, paint and accessories. I've been enamored by how well they are made and have been thinking of trying my hand creating my own posse, of a bunch of chubby, grumpy middle-aged ladies.
Mike is a well known Green Party activist, former MP, former City Councillor and former mayoral candidate, a long-time Coast to Coast athlete and a jewelry maker.

      Aren't they just? It was the first time I got so close up and they were really well-made.
