Tauhou, The Silver–Eye
About this bird. They come in family, or could be a whole village, come to my fig tree for feast, every year. I just snapped from my home office with long lens. (B&W)

Beautiful! The diffused shades of green from the fig tree really enhances and compliments the colours on the bird. I miss these little guys, which I saw mostly when I was a youngster in the Hutt Valley (we lived near the bush). Perfect spur of the moment shot! Lesley Expat Kiwi
