I'm trying to learn to draw, but it's not going so well. With this exercise, though, we had to bend a thin wire to create a contour of a person's face, and I really enjoyed this. I took some extra home to practice. I always have some wire left over, so Ben has a heart growing from the top of his head.
Since you like creating with your hands I can see how the wire sculpture would intrigue you. I like this and think it has a lot of character, especially the heart at the top. :)

And it is poignant that HE is growing a heart. Though I did this a few days ago, I forgot that I promised I'd do the Friday post, and at around 7 last night Beloved was, let's say, less than pleased in his mild mannered way. Hee hee. Naughty wife; I had to do this quickly, because as he was feeling more than mildly annoyed, he was also cooking dinner. At times like these, he can be very persuasive.
