  1. I love the sun, the light!

But driving a car with the wheel on that side makes me nervous.

  3. Ben, as many Americans who live in our northern states are beginning to put logs on their fireplace and freeze in cold temps, we folks along Florida's west coast are still enjoying your beach weather. Draw a cold pint of whatever you're drinking and I'll join you on the bench or in the car...or just sit in the sand.

Do you folks drink Guinness?? Foreign Extra is my favotire.

  5. Thanks all!
Frank, yes cold pint if fantastic. Yes we do drink Guinness. In fact, I visited the factory in Dublin once in my life (so far). It's good for you.

  6. Yeah Frank, Guinness is available in NZ in a can with a widget which fires gas as the can is opened, replicating a beer that is so close to the one brewed in Dublin that NZ is deemed the only country outside Ireland that can reproduce the black stout! We may not have the beaches and temperatures to match Florida but we are easy to please in NZ and pleasing is easy regarding our visitors!

  8. It's Kaiteriteri.
A Guinness in can is available anywhere in the world at least where I have been and never taste the same include NZ so as the bottle (no way). Go to the pub and get a real one.
Speaking of the stout, NZ has lot's of good ones other than Guinness, such as on from the Mussel inn. Frank, when you visit here, you must go to Takaka-Golden bay route to fine this finest NZ produce.

  10. I can also recommend the stout from the Mussel Inn, and the great venue! As for Guinness, nothing is like the Guinness in Ireland I am told, but for those of us unfortunate enough not to have travelled there, NZ was the next best thing (in the can only), forget the bottle, tap or any other Guinness variant. Could enjoy one right now on that beach bench with fish & chips in newspaper!

  12. only the difference between can and bottle is that can has special feature to make (reproduce) micro foam (I assure you it's same in Japan). This foam is naturally there when you have served from tap so you need to wait for few minutes.
If you haven't got good one from tap, you must be got very unlucky as not severed properly.
I personally don't like cans in general not only G. In case of Guinness, bottle is not preferable because this characteristic foam is not easily reproduce.
Anyway, have a nice one everyone. I don't know why it comes to beer talk, but have nice weekend.

Oh the beach, this is the place you want to go to catch a boat for enjoying Abel Tasman National Park and you can enjoy part of walking trek and come back here by catching another (or same) boat. It's great place.

  13. Thanks Ben. Frank in Florida started the beer talk. Kinda goes with beaches, foaming sea water, blue skies and your stunning photo!

Will take the boat trip one day and of course remember your beautiful photo when I do.

    Cheers
