  2. Beautiful light effect, I guess it's becoming spring in your land, but the sky looks always like in winter ! By us it is now colder and the autumn and beginning of classes comes.

  3. Oh wow Meg! Very nice! Did I miss a day here or something? The last time I visited, the red scooter was still the first shot that greeted me. I must be losing my memory. I try visiting at least 50 DPs a day. Could I have skipped this one? Could I? Could I?? Thank god for this beautiful sky!

  4. Fredb, in the summer, we get much better Mordor colors - it's quite fabulous.

Perle de rosee, it's been a funny year. We had an early and cold winter. We are at the end of the winter/start of spring, the flowers and trees are certainly in early spring mode, but the hills to the west still have snow and are still in need of fire at nights.

Edwin, just messing with your mind. We had no internet connection Thursday-Saturday even though we had all the bits ready before we left, so we posted when we came hom on Sunday.

  9. Kate, I'm sorry it seems your comment just popped up this morning - I must have missed it yesterday. Thanks.
Laura, I have acually heard many people say parts of New Zealand look a lot like parts of your area.
Lisi, thanks. I do remember Mordor to be a bit more sinister looking, but we do get that kind of colours, too.
