Page and Blackmore Delivers

Friday afternoons I love to go see Stella, one of the faces on the magazine yesterday, and shoot the breeze about art making. Page and Blackmore was voted the best independently-owned bookshop in New Zealand this year. And their new thing is what you see a small portion of in this picture. They copied Harvard Book Store a while back and began delivering books within the Central Business District (i.e. flat geographically) by bicycle. Here's Pete.

We live in the hilly part of Nelson. Too bad none of the staff is fit enough to deliver here. :-D

  1. I am sure they will invest in a fitness program if your book orders make it worth their while... but will you have the time to read that many books?

    Nice shot!

  2. Leave it to a poor Postie to struggle up to your letterbox with heavy books!
    Been there, done that.
