Lest you think envying dough hooks is all I did, no way; on Friday at L'Artisan Bakery we bought a Swiss Zopf loaf, pastries, and the nuttiest brownies for the weekend. Then we walked over to the cafe for lunch; we got the coffee first, but managed to not pick on the goodies before our food came.
And may I say, three cheers to a bakery uses loads of real butter and sugar. You have to enjoy life, sometimes.

ReplyDeleteJB, on days they make it, they have the best seafood chowder in town. But they don't have it very often. Burgers are good - even the veggie burners.
