Tax-Payer-Supported View

Ben had to pay extra taxes for the tax year ending a year ago today. (Something to do with filing returns via an accountant gives us a year's buffer.) I went to Inland Revenue yesterday to part with a big check, and not wearing a big smile. (I wished they'd tax us based on household income; they may even take pity on Ben!)  

Anyhoo, they have a great view from the 6th floor of the City Council building; they said I can take a picture as long as I didn't open the window. The park on the left is Trafalgar Park, which hosted three World Cup rugby games last year.

A Whole City

I always thought circuit boards looked like city blocks or factory layouts, possibly a diorama material for an impossibly small train set, but at Palms this week they actually had a whole city in their window.
