Richmond is 20 minutes down the road, and we used to go to the kitchen shop, the model train/dollhouse shop and the mall every so often, but the first two closed, and we've seldom been back the last 20? years.
We took the bus a fortnight ago because Ben wanted to go to a food court, which we don't have in Nelson. Richmond Hall is undergoing refurbishment and the food court is being redone right now, but we found many delightful, family-owned ethnic eateries up and down Queen Street. We settled on Iskandar at Sultans, where I fell in love with beetroot humus. And yes, we asked the chef his ingredients.
