Snow in High Summer

It was a quite bit of rain overnight and during this morning and a lot cooler. 
I could not see any of those range in the morning but now it is clear-up a bit. 


What I found is this snow cap!

Yes, it is summer in NZ.

Bit of confusion!?

Sadly...

I love this building; it was the nurse's dormitory or some such in the early days of Nelson Hospital. I have not heard about moves to save it, I assume it is to be demolished, but perhaps somebody in the know can correct me, in its original use or fate.

Grape

It's a try-out of the newly acquired vintage lens (Tamron 70=-150 F3.5) , I have mounted on GX1 via adapter.

This is young grape in our patio.   It seems to be very good number of fruit on this vine, we had pruned back to almost nothing in last year.

Eventually, it will be a big feed for birds.

Sound of ...

I've hard a beautiful sound from somewhere while looking around in central town.   I was looking back to near the corner of Trafalgar and Hardy street, where this lady was playing a Chinese harp .  Look closer to this picture and imagine the sound, it's beautiful.

Nelson Saturday Market

One of many jewellery/accessory shop in market.   The Nelson Market is open every Saturday,  I may see you there some time in the future.

It was very aromatic around there.  They were offering free tasting and many customers were ordering just after the taste.  It must be good.   I had a spice sausages from other place just before, may be next time.
