This was a tile and flooring store, and in the space to the left a garage, on Halifax Street; we assume the old building/s had to comedown for earthquake safety, but don't know for sure. This mosaic sign was hidden under another, (painted?) sign of the flooring store. Does anyone know if Lucas was the name of the original tile store by any chance?
