Fruit & Veges ad Stoke
Our vegetable stick top up spot when we also visit the butcher in weekend. If it's a weekday, usually at Nelson CBD.

Antique Shop at Richmond
Unfortunately, the iconic clock was not in the car today but I have visited this shop first time.
Good selection of quality goods. I almost tempted to check original Lica (about NZ$1000) and/or Yashica 635 TLR to buy...

Big View
I figuratively sat on this photo for over three months because I didn't know what to do with it. It was taken from the 3rd level of the new NMIT Visual Arts building on Nile Street, (Second Floor in NZ Speak.) The tall portion has classrooms, staff offices and gallery space, and the low portion (under the roof at the bottom of the picture) has workshops. If you know Nelson, you might get a sense of how big the view is, because we are seeing all the way to the water, and a little bit of the hills beyond in the left, but as a photograph, it looks my camera shot this with eyes narrowed from the glare.
On the left, also, you see some lights sticking out like enoki mushrooms - that's the refurbished Trafalgar Park where three matches will be played during Rugby World Cup later in the year.

Forgetting
I've been cleaning out my harddrive, one of those tasks I've been meaning to do for two, three years. This weekend I concentrated on my weaving-related files, and managed to cull/clean about half of the photos and most documents.
I've only been weaving seriously since, oh, late 2005, but there were pieces and projects I've forgotten I wove, or pieces whose fate I couldn't recall. I'm not a prodigious weaver but a very slow one, so it's about, you know, oh..., I mean, that thing... forgetting.

Abode (not Adobe)
They sell rather interesting and good quality furniture and some such. (I just glanced from window.) I made mistake to read the sign as "Adobe" - Famous software company...)

Thinking Ahead
Autumn is here. We must venture into our little wilderness, rid this year's rubbish, and think ahead. AT least that's the theory. We had ten (or more?) consecutive days of rain, which should make it easy to pull out weeds.

This one is taken at Picton in other day. The big one at back is the Inter Islander just deserted to Wellington.

2 Go
I hadn't noticed the BP petrol stations adopted a new name of "2 Go", and I was wondering if it had to do with last year's spills.
Meanwhile, this week the petrol prices hit the record high of NZ$2.22/litre , which seems unjustified as NZ$ is doing very well against US$, the currency in which oil is traded. But what do I know. I don't even know the sound of our own cars' alarm.

Please Excuse Me
Found not in Nelson, but on one of the new Picton Waterfront loos where everything is electric it even talks to you. I have a great fear of being locked into one of these, and had a terrible time on this day, because after you push the button to unlock the electronic locks, I was meant to slide open the door, but I waited for a minute or two for the door to open automatically, becoming increasingly anxious. Golly...
