Good god. Its still there. My brother-inlaws brother managed that pub in the 70's. The late Trevor East. If anyone remembers him.
ReplyDeleteYou're a well-connected man, Geoff. They refurbished the premises a few years ago, and from memory, it's the new home of the Nelson Ukulele Orchestra, among other things.
ReplyDeleteI come from a very old Nelson family. Plenty of Uncles,Aunties,Cousins etc still in the area. A few of us escaped to Australia.(joking)
