2 Precious 2 Mine - Nelson March

Protesting march at yesterday in central Nelson against our government (National Party) is trying to allow a mining at our national park. (Hands off National! It's 2 precious 2 mine!)

700 strong Nelsonians gathered and marched to show our passion to protect precious resource of our nature.  Those placards says it all!

Toy Camera - Film 3-3

One of my typical lunch time walking route. Lets go through the Queens Gardens and I'll show you some shots with my toy camera one by one.

Toy Camera - Film 3-1

Ok, toy camera is back in business. I will post series of 23 shots from the film roll no.3.
The number in the title is indication the film no and the frame no. I may skip some as it was largely a duplicate shot or it is not quite worth showing here.

It was relatively dark and camera only has about 1/100s for shutter speed and single aperture setting.

When in ROME

Finally went this Italian restaurant for lunch.  I had a very good pizza with a thin crust as I like.

Paul's Toy

1973 Morrie Minor, with a working heater and radio. Since Ben and I have lots of teeth problems, and since Paul is our dentist, we thought we probably paid for the smart looking rear-view mirrors. At least a couple of hub caps?

Gosh, it's cute; even I can see that.

Theme Day: Red

Ben and I have been married 20 years today according to the Japanese government. We don't get marriage licenses there, we just tell them when we get hitched, and I thought it would be a nice day; start of the school year, start of a fiscal year, and in case it didn't work out, we could say it was a joke.

It was a gray Saturday, and we handed the forms to the tired guard at the gate, and went our merry way shopping for kitchen stuff or furniture, I can't remember. Ben had already moved into the apartment, and he needed things, and I remember buying pots and pans made us feel more married than the form bit.

Our wedding was at the end of the month, and I moved in during the weekend following the wedding. Boy, it does feel like just last week.
