Miss Bug

Last night, Tim and Claudia invited us for the best-ever lasagna we've had, and then gave us one of Tim's "bugs". Ben and I were just thrilled to be on Team Tim Wraight in helping with the website we were overwhelmed by the gift, but the she looks so cute we couldn't refuse.

It's not big, standing at 11cm at the tail, but it has a commanding presence on our big coffee table. Tim didn't know the gender, but I think the cheekiness I sense means she's a girl.

    It's a lovely piece, whether it's a bug or a fish. What kind of wood is it?

    According to artist, it's a Totara wood.
